// What We Do
From first assessment to full reporting system. GreenAtlas meets organizations at their current level and builds from there.
Service tiers — from free assessment to full strategic partnership
// Our Service Model
No organization is too early-stage. No problem is too complex. GreenAtlas is designed as a ladder — you start where you are, and each engagement creates the foundation for the next one.
Know where you stand in under 10 minutes.
The GreenAtlas Green Readiness Assessment is a structured 20-question diagnostic tool that gives any organization an instant sustainability baseline. No technical expertise required. No sustainability team needed. Any leader, programme manager, or operations officer can complete it in under 10 minutes.
The assessment measures performance across five categories: Governance & Leadership, Energy, Waste & Water, Transport & Procurement, and Reporting & Data. Each category is scored out of 20, and the overall score out of 100 is mapped to one of five readiness tiers: Uncharted, Emerging, Developing, Progressing, or Ready.
Upon completion, the organization receives an instant on-screen score breakdown with category-level insights, and a branded GreenAtlas PDF report delivered by email — complete with benchmarks, observations, and prioritized recommendations. The report is designed to be shareable with leadership, included in funding proposals, and used as a baseline for improvement tracking.
A structured conversation that turns your score into a plan.
For organizations that complete the assessment and want to go deeper, the Green Readiness Deep-Dive is a structured two to four hour engagement — conducted remotely or in-person — that unpacks the assessment findings in detail and produces a clear, prioritized action plan.
Unlike a generic sustainability audit, the GreenAtlas Deep-Dive is contextualized to the organization's sector, size, geography, and operational model. A local NGO in Somalia operating with generator-dependent field offices has fundamentally different sustainability challenges than a Nairobi-based SME. The Deep-Dive reflects that specificity.
The engagement concludes with a written findings report and a 90-day action plan — a concrete set of steps the organization can begin implementing immediately, prioritized by impact and ease of implementation.
A full sustainability strategy, built for your organization.
The Green Readiness Roadmap is GreenAtlas's flagship consulting product. It is a comprehensive sustainability strategy engagement designed for organizations that want to move beyond awareness and begin building real, measurable systems.
The Roadmap begins with a full organizational assessment — going deeper than the 20-question tool to examine field operations, procurement chains, fleet management, programme environmental impacts, and governance structures. It then produces a multi-phase sustainability improvement plan, typically covering a 12–24 month horizon, with specific actions, responsible parties, milestones, and indicators.
For humanitarian organizations, the Roadmap includes a specific module on environmental safeguarding — assessing whether programmes are designed with environmental risks in mind and whether displacement-related resource pressures are being monitored. This is a growing donor requirement that most organizations are not yet prepared to answer.
The final deliverable is a complete, designed GreenAtlas Sustainability Roadmap document — ready for internal use, donor submission, and leadership reporting.
Turning your data into intelligence that drives decisions.
Data without presentation is invisible. GreenAtlas produces professionally designed sustainability intelligence products — reports, dashboards, infographics, and data visualizations — that translate raw environmental data into outputs organizations can actually use and share.
This service is built for organizations that have begun collecting sustainability data but lack the design, analytical, and communications capacity to turn it into coherent reporting. It is equally suited for organizations that need to produce donor-facing sustainability annexes, annual environmental reports, or internal performance dashboards.
GreenAtlas reporting draws on our backgrounds in monitoring and evaluation, data visualization, cartography, and communications design. Outputs are produced to a professional standard — comparable to what global consultancies charge multiples more to produce — at a price accessible to regional organizations.
For organizations with geographic operations, GreenAtlas can produce GIS-based spatial analyses showing the environmental footprint of programmes by location — a uniquely powerful tool for organizations working in displacement or climate-sensitive contexts.
GreenAtlas as your embedded sustainability intelligence partner.
For organizations that want GreenAtlas embedded as an ongoing partner rather than a one-time engagement, the Retainer model provides continuous sustainability intelligence, monitoring, and reporting support on a quarterly or annual basis.
Under this model, GreenAtlas functions as the organization's sustainability intelligence unit — tracking data, producing regular reports, updating scores and benchmarks, advising on emerging requirements, and building the organization's internal capacity over time. For organizations in Somalia or other fragile contexts, this includes a dedicated advisory thread on sustainability in humanitarian operations — an area of growing donor scrutiny that most organizations have no internal expertise to navigate.
Retainer clients also receive priority access to GreenAtlas Insights publications, sector reports, and briefings, and are featured — with their permission — in GreenAtlas benchmarking data that informs the annual GreenAtlas Sustainability Readiness Index.
